Gmail has billions of users worldwide. But, only 0.1% can use it effectively.
Here are 10 Gmail tricks you may not know
1. Undo the email you just sent.
Here’s how to undo it:
→ Settings icon (top right)
→ Configuration > General
→ Activate the “undo send” option
→ I chose 30 seconds
2. Stop promotional emails.
→ I typed “unsubscribe” in the Gmail search bar.
→ Now, select all the emails with the unsubscribe label.
→ Then, tap the delete button to delete them all.
3. Send a confidential email.
Make emails confidential by disabling copy, print, and forward.
Tap the padlock icon when sending a new email.
4. Check your Gmail offline.
To activate Gmail’s offline mode, do this:
→ Access your Gmail account
→ Click on the gear icon or “Quick settings”
→ “See all settings”, click on it
→ Select “Offline”
5. Use Gmail with keyboard shortcuts
Shift + I : mark as read
⌘ or Ctrl + Enter: send an email
⌘ or Ctrl + K to insert a link
C to write
/ to search your emails
D to write in a new tab

→ Click the down arrow next to ‘send’
→ I chose ‘Schedule shipping’
→ Choose the date + time you want
7. Snooze an email.
Do you have an email you don’t want to answer now?
→ Click the clock icon on the right.
→ Choose how long to snooze the email.
→ It will reappear in your mailbox on that date.
8. Use labels
Create custom labels for different emails, like “Work” or “Travel.”
→ Click the “Labels” button and select a label. to use.
9. Create templates
→ Select Compose.
→ Enter the text for the template in the email field.
→ Open the three-dot menu. Then, select Templates.
→ Select Save draft as template.
10. Archive important emails (don’t delete them!)
