Lessons from my Dad – Rules for MEN

LESSONS FROM MY DAD

14 Rules for MEN

  1. A man should never go back to a relationship with a woman who has already betrayed that trust through infidelity.
With her, she had already proved to you what she was made of as a person.
You’re not a backup plan, and you’re not an option.
You are the king over your life.

Respect yourself enough to turn and walk away, and never look back.

2. Never let them disrespect you, woman or no woman.

The moment you allow it to take hold, you start to lose your personal power.

Stand your ground, insist on respect, and take nothing less.

You are a man of great worth and merit, and she needs to know this about you.

It means setting either a high and noble standard or, alternatively, proud opting-out unrhetorically, unproblematically, or unconfusedly.

3. Do not stand to shake hands while seated.

The former consider this as the mark of their weakness and indolence.

Stand tall, reach up to them with confidence, and hold on tight with all one’s might.

A handshake’s your bond, your word, so it’d better be good and command respect.

A person should always rise to the challenge at hand and rise above, not sunken into one’s seat or disinterested amongst others who may be present.

4. Never go broke trying to impress anybody else.

Fools are the ones who give up their future for the temporary high of being accepted.

True power comes with the application of practices constituting financial discipline and independence regarding handling one’s self.

Let them be doing their own thing in chasing vanity; you up your game in building your wealth.
