Why You Should Keep Learning
Knowledge is the key to opening doors you never even knew existed.
Yes, it is, because it’s when you invest time and energy in order to learn; you will then build up a skill set that could seriously alter your life.
This means going into an uncommon city carrying a map in your hand, directions of the way to take, or any other form of guide.
Without either one of these guides or means, you might just be walking without apparent direction or meaning. You will be in a place, though, with either one, to find or work your way toward some pretty fun and exciting places.
That is how it feels at the very moment you take up something new to learn, and the confidence level goes tremendously upwards.
It may be that you are one of those people who, amidst all those challenges, never knew just the right way to surmount the obstacle facing you; learning will give you that capability.
Let me give you another example. Suppose you are interested in learning something new-to play a musical instrument. For this example, let’s say it’s the guitar.
Initially, this musical instrument may feel strange to hold, and the notes may appear perplexing.
You continue with it, though, and the fundamentals begin to set in, and all of a sudden, you aren’t just playing mediocre sounds; you’re nailing them in your favorite tracks.
With every moment passed that you can play that new chord or melody right, feeling confident rises, and my gosh, you can do so much more than you thought.
Regiment Regiment
Remember that education may not be confined to the class or school; it is out there, in your books, conversations, and even your experiences. Literally, every minute is an opportunity.
Or maybe it’s that you only watch this really cool documentary, and then, from nowhere, you learn so much more about it. You’re having an eye-opener with somebody who talked so openly about what happened along the course of the journey. And sometimes, it’s the more minor moments that actually have the capacity to bring about extreme, deep changes in one’s life.
Correspondence
Hence, it should not retard or slow down the process of learning however smaller or minute a stride one has taken. The minute bits of learning empower a person and add to his competence.
This is the process by which you’ll find yourself growing increasingly capable, resilient in meeting any challenge, and ready to seize any opportunity that comes along.
