WRONG MINDSETS LADIES TAKE INTO MARRIAGE
1. MY MOTHER-IN-LAW IS MY ENEMY.
This is a certain mindset that some ladies take with them into the marriage journey, and it can be very destructive. The unfortunate thing about this mindset is that it tends to come into play even before the lady has had any chance to get to know her future mother-in-law, and even at times when they have not met or seen each other at all.
They just conclude in their minds to fight their Mother in law. Some wish the Man they’ll get married to has no Mother. And there’s something about having such mindset, it makes you unnecessarily defensive and aggressive towards Her even her actions that are nice seem to have an evil motive to you.
2. I HAVE TO FIGHT ANY WOMAN AROUND HIM TO KEEP MY MARRIAGE
Many ladies get married to a Man and declare War on any and every single lady around their Husband. His Female church members seem like a threat, His Female colleagues in the office are out to snatch him, Any Lady who they see around him, is labeled a Husband snatcher.
Some ladies have ended up scattering their husbands business, church, vision because of this mindset.
3. MY OWN IS MY OWN HIS OWN IS OUR OWN.
Many ladies have this attitude, They are married, but their money is to be spent on themselves, while their husbands money is to be spent on everyone. While there are those who are busy amassing wealth in their own name, There are married women who have houses but their husbands aren’t aware of it.
They have cars, businesses, Even when the Man hasn’t shown himself to be a wicked man, because they came full of fear and doubt, it becomes impossible to trust their husbands.
4. IF HE EVEN MISBEHAVES ONCE, WE DIVORCE.
Some ladies go into marriage with a Plan B,
they go without the option of forgiveness and Patience. In their minds “any small issue, I move out”. Marriage isn’t like that.
There will, no doubt, be moments of highs and lows along this journey. Offenses and challenges will definitely arise. But then again, it is good to remember that forgiveness can play a very important role in helping to surmount all of these things.
The kind of attitude you go into Marriage with as a young woman makes all the difference in so many areas regarding the success of that Marriage.
